Our very own Container Freight Station & logistics company PROMPT TERMINALS Pvt Ltd. is an expansive 25 acres terminal, located in Tuticorin, one of the busiest ports in India. Elaborating on the above, the 23 acres of developed area consists of admin block, 1,35,000 Sqft warehouse space, separate storage area for import bond and export cargo, about 2,35,000 Sqft of import cargo handling area, dedicated space for garments & coir pith, long elevated ramp point, dedicated space in yard for scrap de-stuffing and finally 4 acres of truck parking space.

The 1,35,000 Sqft storage area is split across 5 warehouses. Two warehouses of 32,000 Sqft each, two more of 30,000 Sqft each and a compact one of 11,000 Sqft. Each warehouse is thoughtfully constructed with 10 stuffing points for convenient loading & unloading of cargo. Clear bay marking in the warehouse makes segregation & identification of cargo more conspicuous. Import handling capacity is 36,000 TEUs per Annum and Export handling capacity is 24,000 TEUs per Annum. The Import cargo handling area of 2,35,000 sqft is fully concrete with bay marking for container location. The high mast tower lights provide sufficient illumination for handling cargo & container at nights. Complementing the international infrastructure, Our CFS boasts of powerful high-end equipment such as 40 MT capacity Reach Stackers – 2 nos, Weighbridge (100 MT) placed at entry & exit gate, Forklifts – 4 nos, Trailers – 20 nos, 2 MT capacity weighing scale, 4 high mast tower lights & 360 KVA power back up.

Exclusive customs officer is seated in our campus. Highly skilled team of Customs House Agents are employed to aide customs clearance. Fully equipped CHA office for documentation work. The specialized Capella ‘container management system’ software facility to track container movement & location. Coming to safety & security aspect, our CFS is built with adequate ventilation & fire fighting system. 100 nos of CCTV cameras are installed all over the premises for strict surveillance. Barbed wire fencing is done throughout CFS compound wall & round the clock security guards ensure maximal safety possible.
