The unique combination of breathability while maintaining a barrier to water vapour is particularly suitable for the production of diaper back sheet, femcare products, surgical drapes and other similar hygiene products. Aseptic polyethylene films and laminates are popularly used in the hygiene industry. The melted PE is laminated through extrusion coating process and the PE film is made up to three different layers in thicknesses ranging from 10µ to 150µ. Film toughness even in lower micron and the good weldability provides efficient production of the final product.
The PE films and laminates are fully recyclable however a greener alternative is blown film produced using Bio-Flex® granules that are 100% compostable films which has pleasing, soft feel and particularly nature friendly. Hence perfectly suitable for secure, soft and discrete hygiene products.
